Spokane is Home: Supporting Our Community Through Wildfire Relief

Spokane has always been home.

North Spokane has been my home my entire life. It's where I was raised, where I'm now raising my own family, and the place that has inspired so much of what Lou + James Collective has become.

Watching the recent wildfires impact our community has been heartbreaking. Families have been displaced, firefighters continue working tirelessly, and so many people are facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty.

As I thought about how I could help, I kept coming back to something that's become incredibly meaningful over the past few months—our Spokane hats.

Since late spring, they've become some of the most loved pieces I've brought to markets. They've always celebrated Spokane.

Now, I want them to become a way to support Spokane, too.

From August 4 through August 22, Lou + James Collective will donate $15 from every Spokane hat purchased to the H.O.M.E. Starts Here Fund, supporting wildfire relief efforts for those impacted by the Spokane-area fires.

The fundraiser includes both of our Spokane trucker hats:

• Lilac City, Spokane WA

Every purchase helps us give back to the community we love.

If making a direct donation to wildfire relief is the best way you're able to give, I wholeheartedly encourage that.

Every contribution matters.

This fundraiser is simply one more way we can come together to support our neighbors while carrying a piece of Spokane with us.

My hope is these hats become more than something you wear.

Long after this fundraiser ends, I hope they serve as a reminder of the strength, resilience, and kindness that define this city—not because everything was okay, but because when Spokane needed us most, we came together.

Because no matter what we're facing,

Spokane has always been more than a place.
